Selling Your Expertise: Position Yourself as an Expert to Sell Your Information Products

Do you dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur, but fear that you don’t have the skills, money or ideas you need? The truth is that no matter where you live or what you do for a living, you already have the tools to succeed. Right now, millions of people are selling information products for almost 100% pure profit. And with very little effort and no money down, you can be too.

So what exactly is an information product? “An information product is any product or service that you can sell to people that provides them with information,” says marketing strategist Stefanie Hartman. “What do you know that the rest of us don’t?”

By putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, you could produce a salable information product. A simple how-to ebook, CD-Rom, DVD or seminar series based on your knowledge can become a reality in as little as a few days. Voila! You now have an information product to sell. You can train other people to do what you already know how to do and make ten times what you’re already making.

Your information product can be life-focused or business-focused. Either way, it takes very little to get started, and can bring you huge revenues. What’s truly valuable is the information you produce - information that can help others to achieve their goals. In the meantime, you’re achieving your own goal of financial success.

“Say you sold your $100 ebook to 200 people,” says Hartman. “That’s $20,000 with almost no overhead. You email a digital document that probably only took you a weekend to create! Create something once, update it regularly, and you can sell it again and again. That’s the edge a quality information product can give you.”

To be successful in the world of information products, start by thinking about what would make you buy your own product. You would need to believe that this product had something of real value to offer you, right? You’d need to believe that the person who created it really knew what he or she was talking about. You’d want to buy from an expert. So, to sell an information product, you must first position yourself as an expert.

“Positioning yourself as an expert allows you to become a big fish in a very small pond,” explains Hartman. Anyone can offer advice, but far fewer people can offer expert advice. Do your research and list your credentials. Explain to your customers why it is that you have the information they’ll need to improve their life or business. Perhaps your expertise is in writing or designing educational programs. Partner with another expert - a doctor, a personal trainer, an interior designer - to create and sell an information product that boasts the knowledge of not one but two experts!

The bottom line? There is a world of opportunity just waiting for you. By positioning yourself as an expert and developing a valuable information product, you can quickly rise to the ranks of the most successful of entrepreneurs.

The Best Resources For Onsite Advertising - Do You Have Enough Monetization Options?

Online marketing is a tough business, not tough physically, but in other ways. There are so many people out there trying to compete with eachother for the same prize, so how do you stay ahead of the pack?

One of the best ways is to use as many of the marketing and promoting options available online, and there are a huge number to choose from. I will list some of the better avenues I have used and are still using, as I know they work and work well.

# GOOGLE ADSENSE #

Google Adsense is a great tool for any website because it is easy to use, doesn’t cost anything to run and comes with full support by the biggest frontrunner in online advertising. The best part about Adsense is each and every add that is placed on your site is preconfigured for the search engines, this means that every Adsense add will be on topic with your website pages so that you can sell and know you will not be sandboxed (penalised and removed from your hard earned position in their rankings).

Adsense will allow up to 4 add blocks per webpage and you can use the service on as many pages as you want, you can configure your personal Adsense settings so that certain websites will not be displayed and you can choose from many different add styles. They also support multiple payment options (to you that is). In my opinion Google Adsense is the best way to diversify your income while knowing you are search engine compliant.

# Affiliate marketing #

Yes we all know about affiliates, but did you know that there are two main types? And one of these will pay better than the other. As you know, all you do is display their code on your website and wait for the revenue, but did you know that some will pay you on two levels? This means that whoever clicks to their site from yours will be tagged with a ‘cookie’ and whoever they refer to the same site, and buy, within the specified time frame, you will be credited with a predetermined commission as well.

This is much better than being paid on just one level of commission. So when you are next searching for a good affiliate product, remember to see if they have a two tier commission payment system.

# Value Click #

This company provides marketing solutions to some major online companies, names such as ‘Commission Junction’, ‘Mediaplex’, ‘Pricerunner’ and more. The combined market coverage that this offers is huge and as such offers you links to some excellent services. They range from Affiliate opportunities (an absolutely massive range) to advertising avenues and more. With these options you will also have access to Yahoo! and Overture search avenues.

# Clickbank #

With Clickbank you have access to more than one type of income avenue as well, they have over 10,000 product vendors and over 100,000 active affiliates. Commissions range from 1% to 75% on the sale of digital products, and Clickbank is one of the leading funds transfer and payment companies online, so you will not have to worry about privacy and banking security.
There are plenty more out there on the net, but these are the leaders, so if you start with these and then broaden your range you will have a good platform to base yourself.

There are plenty more monetization options out there, but if you start with these companies you will have a good platform from which to operate. The one thing you always must remember with any type of inpage advertising is to always keep it on subject, as the search engines will penalise you (possibly drop you in their sand box) for multi topic pages.

Webmaster of Creating Online Income
As an active online marketer I know it is vital to have ontopic information posted on my website, I am competing with millions of other websites all the time so whatever the search engines want I will cater to, because that is where the free traffic comes from.

Multi-Level Marketing - Is It An Extension of Franchising?

Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s Corp., did not set out to sell Big Macs. His
introduction to hamburgers came in the early 1950’s while he was peddling milk shake
machines.

A San Bernadino restaurant run by two brothers, Dick and Maurice “Mac” McDonald
were using a number of the machines to keep up with the huge demand for milkshakes.
It was here that Kroc saw a golden opportunity for lot’s of milkshake machine orders if
only they had more restaurants! Kroc offered to open and run the restaurants, and in
1955 opened the first McDonald’s in Des Plaines, IL. He bought out the McDonalds
brothers for $2.7 million in 1961.

Ray Kroc understood one important fact about business that most of us simply miss. The
fact is, that you will make far more money by “duplicating” your efforts over and over
again in a mutually beneficial way, than by trying to due it all by yourself. Ray went out
of his way to find qualified individuals to run and manage his restaurants, and after
training them all at “Hamburger University”, took a small profit from each restaurant.
This “duplication” allowed McDonald’s to enjoy exponential growth over the years.

There are now over 24,500 McDonald’s restaurants in 115 countries around the world!

In today’s world, Ray Kroc might be looked upon as an early MLM’er. He recruited
owners and managers to run his businesses, he provided them with a product, he trained
them to “duplicate” his efforts (through the use of ‘Hamburger University”), and he took
a small percentage of the profits from each restaurant.

If they did not succeed, he did not succeed. No McDonald’s restaurant has ever failed.
(A tribute to the exceptional support system Ray Kroc implemented)

Unlike MLM’s, however, the recruiting aspect of the McDonald’s business was reserved
strictly for Ray Kroc. Restaurant owners were not allowed to franchise themselves. If
they had been allowed to franchise themselves, the McDonald’s Corporation quite
possibly would be much larger than it is today because of faster exponential growth.

In the MLM business, this faster growth can be achieved because each and every business
owner in the network can franchise themselves. This is the “extension” if you will, of
franchising.

Benefit By Helping Others Plus How To Create Urgency So People Buy Now

Many people don’t have the time or skills to write
and create ebooks to give away to their web site
visitors. Giving away ebooks from your web site
can easily increase traffic and sales. Why not
create promotional ebooks for other people to
use so they can promote their web site.

First, you will need to write and create your own
ebook to give away to your visitors. If you don’t
want to write one, you could ask permission to
use another writers’ articles or material. Be sure
to include your text or banner at the beginning of
the ebook.

Once your ebook is uploaded to your web site
you can allow people to download it and give
it away to their web site visitors. Your ad will
continue to be spread all over the internet.

You can take this strategy one step further to
make it even more powerful. Allow people to
sign-up to get a version of the ebook with their
own text or banner ad included in it.

With their own ad included in the ebook, they’ll work
harder to promote it. That means your ad will be
seen by even more people. It’s now a win/win
situation for you and your visitors!

Part 2

How To Create Urgency So People Buy Now

You must create urgency so people will buy your
products or services now. They may not revisit your
web site or see your ad again.

How do you do this? You must use a limited time
offer. Limited time offers stop people from putting
off buying your products or services. It stops them
from procrastinating.

There are many different types of limited time offers.
Here are a few.

Limited Time Price Offers
For example, Order Now! While the price is still low.

After Dec 23, 2004 this price will go up to…

Limited Time Discount Offers
For example, Order before Midnight,
Nov. 5, 2004
and you will get 25% discount!

Limited Time Free Bonus Offers
For example, Order before
April 2, 2005 and you’ll
get a free bonus!

Limited Time In Stock Offers
For example, Order Now! While supplies last! After
Oct. 31, 2004 we can’t guarantee we will have any
left in stock.

I’m not saying everyone will order the first time they
see your ad. They may not be interested in your
products or services. It depends on your ad and the
person reading the ad. If they are interested, usually,
limited time offers will make them buy now.

And one last thing NEVER and I mean NEVER use those java
scripts that says this offer will end by midnight on the
current day. And when you come back a few days it still
there the same offer. If you are going to do this you have
to end it that night. If not it will damage your creditability
and your business. Which you do not want!

Good Luck with your promotions:)

Writers and Predators

Masters of deception pervade every facet of our lives, so why not the
writing life? Time and again scams are perpetrated on writers whose
desire to get published overshadows caution. If you’ve been to Africa or
watch Animal Planet, you’re aware that predators prey on the weak and
unsuspecting. We humans are no different.

During a period
of left brain malfunction, I’d contacted
the New York Literary Agency. Although they were listed as not
recommended by “Preditors & Editors,” a writers’ watchdog website, I
wanted to believe some covetous rival had maliciously bad-mouthed
them. They have an impressive Madison Avenue, New York address, a
professional looking website and a reasonable, if not questionable,
spiel as to why they
operate differently from most agencies. The latter should have been my
red flag. But when you don’t want to believe something, reason
becomes clouded by delusion.

The Literary
Agency Group is an umbrella for six other agencies, apparently under
common ownership: Children’s Literary Agency, Christian Literary
Agency, New
York Literary Agency, Poets Literary Agency, The Screenplay Agency,
and Stylus Literary Agency. If you run across any of these agencies,
keep running. They have no tangible address and no phone number.
Their Madison Avenue address is nothing but a mail drop. They are a
“Catch Me If You Can” outfit that operates out of airports and phone
booths. It’s no wonder they deride such respected organizations as the
Association of Artists’ Representatives (AAR), among others.

My initial submission to The New York Literary Agency had been a
synopsis
of a manuscript. They fired back a reply faster than an automatic
response website. In a boilerplate apparently cranked
out to all writers, they assured me there would be no fees, and asked to
see the complete manuscript. The normal waiting period for a traditional
agent or publisher can be six weeks to six months. After I sent the
manuscript they responded
within a few days saying they would represent me, but with the caveat I
pay a “polishing” fee to a third party in order to make
the manuscript saleable.

At that point the clouds dispersed
and I began self-flagellation with tree branches for having fallen for the
come-on. No self-respecting agent or traditional publisher charges fees
of any kind. This agency has since been denounced by countless
writers who have been conned by their unprincipled practices.

Author Victoria Strauss presides over a website on fraudulent
literary agents and dishonest publishers and unethical upfront fees and
fake addresses and fake contests and everything you never wanted to
believe about con artists who take advantage of unwary writers.
Granted, Strauss is a successful author who would like you to buy her
books. But her Writer Beware website, http://www.sfwa.org/beware is
maintained on a voluntary basis by members of the Science Fiction
and Fantasy Writers of America.
It contains considerable
documented evidence on literary fraud and how to avoid it. You’ll also
learn a whole lot about the industry in general, including vanity
publishers, print-on-demand publishers and how they
differ.

In the life and times of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edna Ferber,
John Steinbeck, Eugene O’Neill and the restsomeone took care of
business while the geniuses wrote. Today, unless you have the means,
there is no escaping to the left bank of the Seine, or the sand dunes of
the Hamptons to contact your muse. Publishing is a business and taking
care of business is the writer’s job. Unless you are able to separate the
predators from the valid editorswell, writers beware.

Maximizing Your Article Marketing

So, you have just written a beautifully scripted, well researched, content
rich, keyword placed, grammatically perfect article, and you’ve got absolutely
zero additional hits to your website! What has gone wrong? Well, here’s a quick
checklist of some of the internet article marketing tricks you may have missed
out on:

Did you remember to include your name?

You’d be amazed at the number of people who write great website articles and
then find that all their internet article marketing efforts full flat because
(a) they either didn’t include or forgot to include their name in the by-line of
the article; or (b) they posted the article on a site where accreditation for
the article is not allowed. Keep in mind, if the reader doesn’t know who you
are, how are they going to find you?

Did you provide a URL?

You should always remember that people are inherently lazy. When it comes to the
Internet, this counts doubly so! As a result, when you submit your article for
publication, make sure you maximize your article marketing potential by
including a URL to your website so all the reader needs to do is to click and be
redirected directly to your site.

Have you included your details?

Although not necessarily beneficial to increasing the traffic to your website
directly, many readers feel more familiar and trusting with a writer who
includes a little information about themselves in the resource box at the foot
of the article. This way the reader get learn something about you and a
relationship of trust can be built up between you and the reader. In turn, it
likely that the reader will be more likely to visit your website as a trusting,
familiar, and friendly person. Exactly the type of potential customer you’ll be
looking for!

Did you maximize your article marketing exposure?

The art of article marketing is not only writing a great article, but also
making sure you place that article on a site that gives it maximum exposure.
Consequently, there is absolutely no point putting all your effort into a great
piece of work, if you have done no research about the website where it will be
posted. Because, if the website where the article is posted gets no hits, then
good or bad your article isn’t going to get many referrals to your site - which
is the whole point of article marketing! What’s more, where possible, you should
always consider maximizing your article marketing potential by placing the same
well-written article on as many different publishing websites as you possibly
can. Hopefully this will increase the referrals and traffic to your website.

Have you frightened the reader?

Even when you have written a great piece, the way you structure the layout of your article can have a dramatic affect on your reader. For example, if you have
a resource box that details your website URL and credentials, you need to make
sure that the space this takes up is no more than 1/5th of your total article
space. To do otherwise will usually result in the layout of your article having
a negative impact on the reader - especially the reader’s first impression. As
such, your well written article will go unread.

Maximizing referrals to your website via implementing a successful article
marketing strategy is not overly difficult. You do, however, need to give it
some thought. And, having written a great piece of work in the first place,
isn’t it worth the extra effort to make sure you get that piece working for you
by directing as much traffic to your website as possible?

Salehoo :Salehoo Wholesale Gifts

Salehoo: Wholesale Candle Making Instructions
Salehoo is one of the best selling products on Clickbank. Salehoo is a directory that has a massive list of quality suppliers including drop shippers, wholesalers, and importers. Salehoo doesn’t have a list like WorldwideBrands, however, it’s one of the largest and affordable directories on the Net. For starters I fail to understand why anyone would want to pay to have access to a list of suppliers? I mean we live in an age where anything can be found with a little research online there are dozens of free directories that will give you the same information as a premium list if not more so why pay for it? Do a bit of ground work and you will be able to find all the information you need, so learn all about Salehoo wholesalers.

The Salehoo website provides access to quality high demand products from popular retail categories such as clothing footwear computers furniture consumer electronics and home appliances which is the real benefit of Salehoo dropshippers. In order to be continue attracting customers and in order to sell to these customers retailers need a steady supply of wholesale products and also the Salehoo Suppliers. This constant evolution guarantees most up to date list of legitimate suppliers

Salehoo Wholesale Bulk Perfume Body Oils:
First of all getting a business license I.D is truly necessary is a true necessary step to make when you plan to incorporate your wholesale or reselling business. In my advance wholesale business opinion, it is important to get a business license if you plan to sell one hundred thousand dollars a month in sales from a retail, wholesale or reselling business. However, there is no need to get a business license when there are many wholesalers and distributors that can cut you deals for wholesale merchandise in single or in bulk amounts legally. Ebay powersellers trust Salehoo dropshippers and Salehoo prices.

He’s selling it on eBay and this one product alone is making him $400 a week profit after the eBay selling fees, so try to join the Salehoo forums. Would you make your customers pay a monthly fee just to be able to buy your products in your store? A real wholesale distributor needs your federal tax id number and resellers permit to do business with you, which will be the Salehoo customers. See Salehoo.

Salehoo Wholesale Silk Flowers In Louisiana

Salehoo: Wholesale Candle Topper
One thing that you want is another scam that is just going to run with your money. Salehoo is able to offer the largest database on all sorts of places for your to get what you need for your business, and find it fast. There is no risk of a fake or a scam. One of the best things that I like is that there are reviews from other members on the suppliers. So, if the supplier has a bad reputation, you will know about it. You will also have a message board that you can post questions and get great answers. I love the ease and confidence that I have when using Salehoo. Ebay has become a very competitive market and in order to profit from it you have to think outside the box and do things differently otherwise you will pay a heavy price through financial loss simply buying a list like Salehoo is not the answer.

Getting caught out by scammers is a common stumbling block for people new to wholesale Since the profit margin for these retailers is based on the difference between their wholesale cost and their asking retail price the lower the wholesale price of their wholesale products the better. You will not be disappointed

Salehoo Wholesale Toys W2Fu:
There are different laws that regulate the reselling and wholesale business in many states in the USA, however, that is not an implication that you need a business license to sell wholesale merchandise.

As I’ve said before Salehoo offer 60% off Auction Xfactor which helps a lot with the knowing how to do it part the other factor to making money is the wholesalers but then that’s what Salehoo’s all about. The easy road is the one most often traveled and you will learn that it leads no where. See Salehoo Review.

Ghost Writer Services: How To Guarantee That Your Investment Pays Back When You Hire These Services

Ghost writing services are quite affordable online. Unfortunately this does not guarantee that everybody who hires ghost writer services will end up happy at the end of the day. In fact many webmasters and blog owners usually end up bitterly disappointed at the end of the exercise.

To avoid this disappointment, there are a number of key things one should always look for when hiring ghost writer services.

Ghost Writer Services Must Be Based On Sound SEO Techniques

Just study a number of successful web sites and blogs and you will quickly find that behind the success of most will be sound SEO techniques in the generation of all content at their sites. Ghost writer services that ignore SEO (search engine optimization) techniques like the use of keyword phrases capable of attracting search engine traffic are already greatly handicapped. This by itself is such a great impediment that chances of success become very slim if any.

Ghost Writer Services Must Be Based On A Lively Writing Style

If your writing is not interesting, you will never make an impact online. Hiring ghost writer services from online writers whose writing style is visibly rigid and boring will quickly end up in regret and unfulfilled objectives for you. Even if good keyword phrases are used in all the content, traffic that ends up on your site will quickly reach for the “back” button and click their way out of your site or blog pronto. You will quickly find that any investment you have made in generating traffic like using Adwords, for instance, will not pay back or come anywhere near giving you a decent return on your investment.

Ghost Writer Services Must Incorporate Effective Traffic Generation Techniques

Good ghost writer services will constantly seek to incorporate effective traffic generation techniques. For example some articles will clearly be written with link-baiting objectives in mind. Generating links to a site is a very effective traffic generation strategy that will pay for years and years. Thus guarantying a massive return on every penny you will end up spending on ghost writer services.

How To Make Money Selling Domain Names

Domain name speculation has to be one of the very best ways to
make money on the Internet. It’s easy, fun, takes a very low
investment and has a huge profit potential. Businesses and
webmasters are always looking for high quality, marketable
domain names and will pay you big bucks if you have the name
they want. Many people are making a good living buying and
selling domain names. And you can too.

Below I will tell you everything you need to know, including
where to find good domain names that are still available for
registration (for as low as $14.) This used to be one of the
hardest and most frustrating parts of domain investing. In the
past to find good domain names you would have to search, one by
one, until one came up that was available. But now there are
research tools and compiled lists that do this for you! You can
also get lists of domains that have expired, due to non-
payment, and have been put back into the available pool. More on
this below, but first lets discuss what makes a good domain name.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD DOMAIN NAME:

The suffix is the most important factor. .COM, .NET, and .ORG
are by far the most popular. Other alternative domains like .WS,
.TV, .FM, are becoming more and more popular because they are
wide open. For example where you couldn’t get DW.com you can
still get DW.ws (well maybe not anymore). For now, I would stick
with .COM because they will be the easiest to sell.

Would a webmaster or business want it? Ask yourself that
question and if you can’t instantly say “Yes!” than don’t buy
it. Also the more generic the domain name the better. And
remember it is illegal to register a business name or trademark
that you do not own. This is called “cyber-squatting” and tough
laws are now in place to protect against this.

The shorter the name the better. These are the most memorable
and easiest to market. At the time of writing this, there are
only about a thousand three character domain names left. To find
out how to get a list of these and four-character domain names
see below.

What names are selling? Do some research on Ebay.com or
Afternic.com (popular domain auctions) and see what names are
selling and for how much. Below are what some domains recently
auctioned for or have current bids at Afternic.com:

Internetbank.com $92,800 E-Privacy.com $35,080 eloans.net $6,060
Ez-HomeLoans.com $4,725 venture-capital.net $14,510
officetravel.com $2,625 qalaxycafe.com $1,890 a1restaurants.com
$730 stormnews.com $765 SkinCleanse.com $2,885 LADoctor.com
$15,000 MrAirline.com $15,000 Engineering.org $198,895.00

HOW TO FIND HIGH QUALITY DOMAIN NAMES:

There is a myth circulating cyberspace that all the good domains
are taken already. And although it is true that thousands of new
domain names are registered everyday, there are still good names
to found. The best way to find great domains is to subscribe to
expired domain lists. These are compiled lists of the thousands
of repossessed domain names that have been put back into the
domain pool every day. They are available again for anyone to
register and contain some really great names; recently race.com
appeared in one and was snatched up by a lucky subscriber. As a
subscriber you will get first pick at registering these names.
There are two such lists that I know of:

Unclaimed Domains - http://join.at/unclaimed

DNSIndex Expired Domains - http://join.at/DNSIndex

These lists are literally worth thousands of dollars. To get the
lists all you have to do is subscribe, which is easy and cheap.
Then each week you will receive a fresh list of expired domains
in your email inbox.

You may also purchase a custom keyword search in the recently
expired domain name pool from DNS research -
http://buy.at/DNSResearch .

Other tools to help you find great domain names:

DNS Research - http://buy.at/DNSResearch sells lists of all
available Dictionary Word .COM, .NET, and .ORG domain names.
They also offer lists of remaining three character domain names.

DNS Index - http://join.at/DNSIndex - sells lists of available
three character and four character domain names as well as
custom searches of the expired domain pool.

FREE tools to help you find great domain names:

DomainsWeekly.com offers a free weekly e-zine that includes a
list of over 200 high quality expired and available domain
names. The website also has tons of domain related links,
resources, services, news and more.

NameBoy.com has a great search engine that recommends available
domain names based on a keyword you enter.

NameU.com has a search engine that does pretty much the same
thing except you have to click on each name individually to see
if it is available.

DOMAIN REGISTRATION:

After you find some good domain names, you will need to register
them. Not too long ago the cost to register a domain name was
$70 for two years. But with new regulations and the distribution
of registering privileges the cost of registration has become
more affordable. Meaning more profit for you! You can now
register a domain name for as little as $14 for a year. One
place to do this is at DomainsWeekly.com

SELLING YOUR DOMAIN:

The most effective place on the Internet to sell your domain
names is on auction sites. List them first on Ebay.com,
Afternic.com, and Ezdomainauction.com. There are also domain
name brokers that will list your site for free, a fee when sold,
a fee to list, or both a fee to list and when sold.
GreatDomains.com is a great high traffic site to list on and you
only pay them only a small percentage when you sell your domain.
If you have a good domain name, and your price is right it won’t
be long before a buyer bids or contacts you.

Many new domain sellers make the mistake of trying to sell every
domain name for thousands of dollars. When, in fact, you will do
much better selling more domains for a few hundred dollars. This
way you will have a much higher turn around rate. Remember you
are registering the names for $14 and if you sell one for even
$200 that is still a huge 2600% profit!

CONCLUSION:

As you can see, domain name buying and selling is a good way to
make a great deal of money. It’s very easy and you can do it in
your spare time. Get started today by subscribing free to
DomainsWeekly.com, subscribing to DNSIndex -
http://join.at/DNSIndex (instant access to expired domains) and
any of the other available and expired domain lists listed
above. Register with Ebay.com and Afternic.com and begin
selling! Good Luck!
